Job Overview
The RF MW Design Engineer will provide technical leadership in the design and analysis
of passive components together with technical review on leading edge components. In
cooperation with manufacturing and quality team, he/she will transfer the design into
manufacturing and document the design throughout the project.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verifies and validate RF engineering design performance by establishing reliability and
durability test standards
- Developing design simulations; proving-out design using computer simulation;
completing design analysis, tolerance, and worst-case analysis. Circuit design including
parameters, stability, bandwidth, and noise, parasitic effects, impedances, high-frequency
behavior, filters, transformations, signals, and amplifier design.
- Conducting compatibility evaluations; identifying, isolating, and resolving performance
problems.
- Maintains engineering design team accomplishments by coordinating actions; reviewing
open issues and action items; contributing information and engineering analysis to team
meetings and reports; guiding engineering technicians.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging RF engineering
technologies and practices; participating in educational opportunities and professional
organizations; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Education/Skills/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. MSEE preferred.
5 years experience in RF/Microwave field.
Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills
Specific knowledge in intermodulation, Carrier-to-noise ratio, S-parameter, operating of
network analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, CAD and other analysis tools.
